Third-party Developer Captioning Requirement

HTC and the VIVE family are passionate about bringing virtual reality to the world.
We strive to make the VIVEPORT platform accessible to a wider audience. To achieve this goal and enhance the VR experience for all, HTC will require captioning of all third-party content on the VIVEPORT Infinity Platform by October 3, 2025. We recognize the challenges of updating existing content, so any content made available on the VIVEPORT Infinity Platform as of April 3, 2023, will be exempt from this requirement. . HTC will release information in the future regarding the process for submission of captioned content. HTC has previously published information to help developers implement captioning, but we encourage development teams having difficulty to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
